Sean is a graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran College, with degrees in Accounting and Finance. Following graduation he will be pursuing his CPA. Outside of the office he enjoys watching sports, traveling, and getting outdoors.
Emily Klein-Welch
Payroll Specialist
Emily, Karl's sister, obtained her payroll certification in 2017, and is KKCPA's Certified Payroll Specialist. She is not only our payroll specialist, she also handles corporate filings such as new entity paperwork and annual reporting. Emily has been working at KKCPA since 2011.
Jenny Hackbarth
Office Manager
Jenny once worked as Office Administrator years ago before taking a hiatus to start a family. She thankfully returned to help out at KKCPA in 2022! Jenny's focus and organization enable KKCPA to remain a well-oiled machine.
Elsa Klein
Marketing Manager
Elsa, Karl's youngest daughter, has been hanging around the office since infancy. From enjoying ice cream in the lunch room as a child to now managing the website and socials, and helping with events, Elsa has been a lifelong fan of KKCPA.
David Scherer
Staff Accountant
David began working at KKCPA full-time in 2013 as a staff Accountant. Friendly and personable, David enjoys his time spent working with a great variety of clients at KKCPA.
Luke Hoffner
Staff Accountant
Luke has been with KKCPA since June of 2022. He received his master's degree in accounting from UW-Milwaukee. He enjoys married life, playing soccer, and studying current developments in the realm of taxation.
Alex Hackbarth
Staff Accountant
Alex graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 2024 and has been with KKCPA ever since. He deals with a variety of work across the office, but enjoys bookkeeping the most. His hobbies include woodworking and CNC machining.
Alex Werchowski
Staff Accountant
Alex helps manage the entire KKCPA office workflow, working as a mediator between clients and other staffers. Alex is a staff accountant with experience serving both business and individuals. He is a Packers fan and enjoys spending time with his family.

Karl Klein is the founder of KKCPA and has been a trusted advisor and tax pro for over 40 years. Beyond his primary work, Karl is an accomplished author and entrepreneur - the Author of Extra Value Economics and Founder of CLK CLK, Inc.
Tim Singers

Tim has been an essential element of KKCPA for over 35 years. Tim is our tax expert, serving even the most complicated individual and business needs across 50 states.
Joshua Boeldt
CPA
Josh has been working with KKCPA for over 14 years now, graduating from Marquette University and passing the CPA. Hard-working and focused, Josh enjoys working at a close-knit firm with small businesses and personal clients. Josh, his wife Janelle, and their three kids live in Jackson, WI and enjoy family hikes and watching their favorite sports teams.
Kayla Klein
CPA
Kayla serves clients with tax, bookkeeping, and payroll services. She graduated from UW Madison, worked at Ernst & Young Chicago, then joined KKCPA to work alongside her dad, Karl, and to serve clients on a more personal basis. Kayla enjoys running, cooking, and home projects with her husband, Fritz.
